Note to students: the Fall 2024 version of this course will be organized differently, in response to student feedback. It will be taught only by Professor Bruno Carvalho, but during many of the Thursday sessions we will host guests, including several practitioners. Also based on feedback, there will be more low-stakes assignments leading towards a less time-intensive final project. The updated syllabus will be posted during the Summer.
