Week 9 Completion Checklist

Your final assignment is posted -- build a Drupal website!

For this first week, get Drupal installed.

I'll be posting week 10 at the same time as week 9 -- you don't need to watch both sets of videos together, but I strongly recommend it.  Understanding Drupal can benefit from some front-loading, and if you watch both weeks' videos together, you'll be more likely to make good choices when starting to build out your content.

You'll need 10 nodes/pages of content for your final project. Three of the nodes should be of your custom content type -- though in reality, you'll find yourself making mostly custom content on a real site, so keep that in mind as you plan. 

Don't forget your WordPress site is due on Friday, March 31.

Checklist:

• Install Drupal
• Enter at least some of your 10 required pages of content to get a feel for the interface
• Make yourself a (physical or mental) wish-list of custom content types (do you want a special "blog entry" type? A type for products?  A type for people?)
