Please upload your final presentation file here by 11:30am on Tuesday, Dec. 11th. Ideally, we will use the files here to run the presentations in class. In addition to a PPT file, you may upload a link to a Google Slides, Prezi, or the like.
For more information, please consult the Final Presentation Info Sheet. SS98jlFinalPresentation-InfoSheet-Fall2018.pdf
You can also see a few examples of past presentations that had good visuals and use of text, below. These represent projects with varying methodologies: Bishtawi 2015 and the 2014 example were mainly interview-based, 2013 #1 was based on analysis of newspaper sources, and 2013 #2 on quantitative economic analysis. Please keep in mind that (a) in most cases, students had 10-14 days between the final presentation and the final paper, so the results may be fairly preliminary in these; (b) in most cases, students had 20 minutes for the presentation, so were able to cover more than a 15 minute presentation would. As a rule, the maximum number of slides one should have is 1 per minute of the presentation; fewer is better.
