Enrollment
Fall 2024 of Sensory Ethnography is the second in a two-semester course in which students apply media anthropological theory and conduct ethnography using film, video, sound, and/or still photography. If you will be shooting this summer and would like to edit your footage with the guidance of this semester's class critiques and discussions in the fall, you are able to jump into the class this semester by permission of the instructors.

Please share information about your upcoming summer shoot via this Google Form by April 10th and petition to enroll in the class on my.Harvard so that we have you on the roster. However, we will not be able to accept you into the second semester of the course until we have seen samples of your footage in August when enrollment opens again. We will solicit these samples from you in August and look forward to getting to know you and your work!

Class Schedule and Location
Tues 12:00pm-4:15pm & 6:00pm-8:45pm, Friday 9:00am-12:00pm
Carpenter Center Theater & B-04

Note
To enroll in Sensory Ethnography this fall, you must enroll in both AFVS 158CR and 158DR. The course is one class in practice but two classes in the system.
