This pass may be used once.

The bearer is entitled to turn in their assignment no more than 3 days late (Monday, instead of Friday, at 11:59 PM).

This pass may be used for assignment 1 or assignment 2 -- it may NOT be used for assignment 3.

This pass may not be used for assignments later than 3 days late. It may not be used more than once. It does not require advance notice. 

If this pass is marked as "complete" in the gradebook, that's the indication that you've already used this pass.
