Where can I find music for my podcast or film?
Be mindful of copyright when selecting music. There are many license-free or low cost music resources out there, but be sure to read the TOS. Here are some of our Staff Picks:

Basic podcast editing with Audacity
Audacity is a free, cross-platform DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that lacks some of the features of its competitors, but is a great tool for beginner to intermediate audio editing.

IMPORTANT:
Audacity does not include support for M4A or AAC audio files out of the box.
You must first install an FFMPEG library, but this is quite straight forward.
Simply download and run the installer and follow prompts, then re-start Audacity - good to go!

The following video tutorial describes the basics of assembling a podcast, but can also be used as a general Audacity introduction.
