Online Exams
An online exam is a timed exam that is taken on a specific date and within a specific 24-hour period. Instructors may elect to administer exams online via Canvas, Canvas with Proctorio, or a third-party testing tool.
Check the syllabus to see whether or not you have a course exam and exam format (e.g. take-home exam, proctored and timed exam, or an online open-book exam). Contact the teaching staff if you have questions about the exam format.
What is Proctorio?
Proctorio is a remote proctoring service software that works within your web browser to monitor test takers for suspicious behavior.
How do I find help with Proctorio?
The fastest and easiest way to contact support is using the "shield" icon. The shield is only present on quiz pages after you install the extension Links to an external site.. You must be on the quiz page to access the Live Chat button.
If you have not been able to download the extension you can reach their chat support at: https://proctorio.com/support Links to an external site.
Chat has the fastest response time but they can also be reached via email at: support@proctorio.com
