S-030 is likely to be very different from your substantive classes--for example, there's virtually no reading at all, but lots of "doing." With the goal of ensuring that all students are fully prepared for what to expect and how to get the most out of the semester, a group of some former S-030 students have written up their "Best Practices" recommendations with an eye to helping you: (1) decide whether S-030 is the right course for you; and (2) develop strategies for success.
Note that S-030 has been organized differently in the past, for example, it used to use PC-SAS instead of Stata. Nonetheless, some of the more general recommendations may be useful to you.
