Instructors choose what kind of assignment submissions they want you to use and how they will share feedback and grades. Check the course syllabus for assignment policies.
Assignments & Submissions
There are several ways to access your Canvas assignments depending on how your instructor has structured their course site.
There are several submission types in Canvas. Note, any attachments added as part of a graded assignment submission are also copied to your user files Links to an external site. but are not counted against your user quota. Once the file has been uploaded as a submission, you cannot delete the file. Files are stored in the Submissions folder. Before submitting an assignment, you review all assignment information.

Assignment Feedback
You can view scoring details, comments, and rubrics by navigating to each of the assignments or via Grades depending on how your instructor structured the course site.
Your instructor may choose to include comments directly in an assignment submission using inline comments, or annotations, which you will navigate to in different ways.
